Role in the Ditas Project
POLIMI will focus on the definition of an innovative data management process based on the data utility model. This model will be used to express capabilities and requirements for the VDC and will guide the enactment of the data and computational strategies. POLIMI will also contribute to the definition of the data movement strategies also considering the effects that the enactment of such strategies might have on the data utility. Finally, POLIMI will also contribute to the design of the distributed monitoring system that will take into account the measurement of data utility defined for the VDCs.
